Background Information: UNDP is the UN’s global development network, advocating for change and coordinates global and national efforts to reach the Millennium Goals, connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life. In Afghanistan, UNDP is working with the Government, non-government, civil society, private sector, community based development organizations and supporting them to find their solutions to global and national development challenges. UNDP Mission Statement: The UNDP Afghanistan focuses on the areas of assistance covering Poverty Reduction, Democratic Governance, Gender and Gender Equality, Natural Resources Energy and Environment, Crisis Prevention and Recovery, Local Governance and Administration, State building and Government. Across these areas, projects are grouped which serve to create synergies in capacity development, gender, subnational implementation, and rule of law. Duties and Responsibilities | |
This Call for Resume is open to Experts with Master’s Degree in the following domains: Social Sciences, Development, Political Sciences, Management, Economics, International Development, Public Administration, Public Policy, Law and Legislation, Human Rights, Post War/Conflict Recovery, Business Administration, or any other field related to the areas of expertise as mentioned below: Area of Expertise The applicant with Master’s Degree in above-mentioned domains and Professional work experience in one of the following areas of expertise are welcome to submit their Resumes and a cover-page expressing their interest to work with UNDP, Afghanistan: Program: 1.
