Position Summary:BroadReach is currently seeking Junior Technical Experts interested in BroadReach’s submission for a USAID-funded proposal bid in Asia
Technical areas may include, but are not limited to:
  • Family Planning/Reproductive Health
  • Maternal and Neonatal Health
  • Child Health and Survival (Nutrition, Immunization Services, etc.)
  • HIV/AIDS (BC, OVC, C&T, ART, PMTCT, Treatment, Care, Support, Surveillance, QI, Palliative Care, etc.)
  • Infectious Disease (Environmental Health, Hygiene, Malaria, Tuberculosis, Anti-Microbial Resistance, etc.)
  • Research (Applied, Biomedical, Operations, Qualitative, Ethnographic, Social Marketing, Behavioral, etc.)
  • Health Systems (BCC, Community Mobilization, Healthcare Financing, HMIS, Supply Chain Mgmt., etc.)
  • Gender
  • Public Private Partnerships in Health
  • Pharmaceutical Management
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Program Evaluation
  • Non-Communicable Diseases
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities are variable and project dependent and may include:
  • Contribute to or lead the development and implementation of global health programs, projects, and services in developing countries
  • Design and/or implement innovative and scalable solutions to address pressing public health needs
  • Provide oversight and leadership on technical areas outlined above
  • Develop innovative toolkits and operating procedures and implement methodologies
  • Prepare written reports, strategy documents, presentations, models, analyses, and recommendations
  • Liaise and manage relationships with clients/donors, government officials, and public and private sector organizations
  • Lead assessments, trainings, and workshops for in-country audiences
Basic Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Epidemiology, Gender, Pediatric Health, International Development or other relevant field; medical or nursing degree highly desired
  • At least 3 years of experience developing and implementing country health programs
  • 3 years working in a developing country context
  • Experience working on USAID,  PEPFAR, and/or other donor-funded projects or programs
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • History of successful leadership initiatives with demonstrated managerial skills
  • Must demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills in English
  • Consistent ability to meet deadlines and remain focused
  • Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience
