The Role
This is a broad and interesting role for a highly capable and dedicated individual with proven programme management experience in an international development context.
The Programme Advisor is the first point of contact and support to Brooke Country Programmes. The post holder will support Brooke programme managers in planning, implementing and monitoring their programmes in line with organisational standards and objectives.
Criteria
You will have significant experience in planning, implementing and monitoring NGO programmes, acquired from working closely with the developing world. Experience of working within the Asia region together with the ability to speak Hindi/Urdu is essential. You will have a flexible attitude and be an excellent team player. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a high level of organisational ability and a commitment to the Brooke’s work and values.
In order to excel in this post, you will have a commitment to continuous improvement and be keen to diversify your skills through involvement in wider organisational projects and initiatives. Experience of one or more of the following areas would therefore be a distinct advantage: participatory methodologies at community level, training, capacity building, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation.
