IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. We are a worldwide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals.
As part of our Access team you will play a key role in the implementation of our Access Global Strategy. Your focus will be health systems strengthening (HSS), health financing, health economics and health service management.
With significant international travel you will strengthen the capacity of IPPF colleagues and clinicians to improve universal access to SRHR information and services, with emphasis on strengthening health service delivery systems (SHSDS). That includes capacity building in innovative health financing schemes to remove financial barriers and increase uptake of SRH clinical services. You will ensure the collection of comprehensive evidence-based SHSDS data and documentation. You will represent IPPF internationally as the organisational lead in HSS, health financing, health economics and health service management.
You have a track record working in developing countries in health economics, health service financing, management and HSS. This must include the analysis of health service delivery systems, particularly in innovative health financing schemes working within the public and private health sector, the international development sector or in a research institute.
You have proven experience of successfully influencing decision-makers and in strategic public representation. You have fluent English, excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong advocacy and training skills. You have well developed supervisory skills. Strong operational research and analytical skills in HSS to include quantitative analysis are essential. You must have a Masters degree in health economics, health management or equivalent standard of education.
